Student Achievements at the Department of ECE

  • As a role, Ms.B.Gaayathri, a final-year ECE student, earned distinction as the best performer in the International Space Science Competition (ISSC-2020). Nonetheless, she secured an opportunity to visit NASA.
  • Nearly, 26 students got internship in top notch companies such as Qubercomm, CTS, IVTL Infoview, GIGAME, ETIQU.
  • Yet, three student teams reached the final rounds of the Smart India Hackathon.
  • Nonetheless, S.Sudhersun, R.Venkatesh, S.Vasundara of final year ECE received Rs.20,000 as cash prize in Start Up Mela 5.0 on 05-03-2023 conducted by St.Joseph Institute Of Management, Trichy
  • Santhosh Kumar S, Suresh Kumar M, Sudhersan S, Sushmitha R K, Swarnamaliga P J, Infant Stanko F of IV-year ECE were shortlisted for SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2023 held at Sage University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
  • Saran Kumar S, Uthra S, Sowmiya N M, Vijay R, Vishnupriya V, Ajeeth A of IV Year ECE were shortlisted for SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2023 held At Manipal University, Jaipur.
  • Above all, Vigneshwar S, Subashram S, Tharun N T, Vasikaran J,Sriranjani, K,Soundhariya P R of IV Year ECE were shortlisted for SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2023 held at KLE Technological University, Hubli, Karnataka.
  • A. Praveen, T. Rakshitha, S. Priyadharshini, G. Rajalakshmi, S. Vasikaran, Shree Ram R of II-year ECE have shortlisted for SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2024 in hardware edition and the event is held from 19th Dec-23rd Dec in Lovely Professional University, Punjab.

Collaborative Achievements at the Department of ECE

  • In collaboration with the mechanical department, Mr.P.S.Barani, Mr.M.Shrirengarajan, and Ms.Deepika bagged the overall Championship Award. Further, they won a cash prize of 1 Lakh at the Saur Urja Vehicle Challenge 2020; and also won the first spot at the cost plan event in Coimbatore.
  • Also, Ms.S.KavinBharathi and Mr.M.Shrirengarajan, collaborating with mechanical department students, designed a hybrid electric vehicle, and showcased their skills at the Efficycle event organized by SAE NIS hybrid electric vehicle, held in Lovely Professional University, Punjab.

Student Projects and Awards

  • In 2021, students Mr. D. Santhosh, Mr. S. Sudhersun, Mr. S.R. Susmitha, and Mr. R. Venkatesh received the Best Participation award along with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 from IIPT – National Level Project Contest.
  • Secondly, Four ECE students reached the final round of the AICTE Viswakarma Award in 2021.
  • Further, Mr. S. Sudhersun bagged the Best Outgoing Student Award from PEGA university Program Dr. M. Maheswari and Dr. K. Priyadarshini have received as “Women of Excellence” award by DDHR, Dindigul.
  • Above all, Mr.S.Sudhersun earned the prestigious Best Outgoing Student Award from the PEGA University Program.
  • Also, S.Sudhersun, R.Venkatesh, D.Santhosh of final year ECE received Best Market Fit And Innovative Project Award with cash prize of Rs.2500 on 19.04.2023 conducted by Anna University, Chennai
  • Furthermore, S.Sudhersun, R.Venkatesh, of final year ECE received III rd prize with Rs.10,000 cash award in Start Up Tn –Olimayam 2.0 on 31-03-2023 conducted by Knowledge Institute Of Technology, Salem
  • Maithreyi V S of III-year ECE won 1st prize in Zonal Level Chess Competition (Ariyalur Zone) on 05.12.2022.
