As an Electrical and Electronics Engineering student; I’ve probed into the world of power grids and microchips, pushing boundaries with every subject. But KRCE wasn’t just about academics. Furthermore, from presentation days to symposiums, I found out what I’m good at; also, made lifelong friendships, and learned the art of resourcefulness like a true engineer.

Sure, there were moments of self-doubt and all-nighters, but the professors’ guidance and the buzz of learning kept me going. Today, as I stand on the verge of graduation, I leave KRCE not just with an engineering degree, but with a toolbox of resilience, adaptability, and a thirst for innovation. The journey continues, and I carry a piece of KRCE’s spirit with me.

Looking back on my time at K. Ramakrishnan College of Engineering (KRCE), I realize how much the place has influenced me. In fact, KRCE provided a space for personal and intellectual growth. In addition, the staff were our mentors and also friends, always there to help with academics or to offer advice. Further, the college environment felt like a second home, and the simple surroundings taught us to be discerning and persistent in directing through studies and activities. Looking ahead, I’m grateful for these valuable experiences; and, KRCE has also equipped me with life lessons like patience, self-reliance, and the strength to face challenges.

Srivatshava K – Computer Science and Business Systems

Starting my journey in “Computer Science and Business Systems,” I got into the latest tech trends like AI and Data Science. It was about staying ahead in the tech world. I also learned how to manage events and plan projects. Surprisingly, my creative side got some play too! Through design thinking, we found smart and creative solutions. In that course, I was shaping the future with a mix of tech, management, and creativity.

Then came “Placements,” where I got trained in aptitude, communication, coding, and core subjects. Despite the uncertainties of 2023, the Placement Drives were in full swing, and I landed a gig at Renault Nissan Technologies and Business Centre India. It wasn’t all about landing a job, it’s about finding the right fit for my skills. I also took some extra tech training in Pega Automation Tool, Java Full Stack Development, and AWS Cloud Foundation.

These things made me more versatile in the tech industry. We also had this cool cultural event, “TALENTIA,” where everyone got to show off their talents. You don’t have to be super talented as its just about sharing what you’re good at and cheering for each other. Looking back, my college journey wasn’t just about classes – it pushed me out of my comfort zone. Late-night study sessions, laughter with friends, and all the ups and downs shaped me into a more confident and open-minded person. College life at KRCE was like a big mix of experiences, and now, as I turn the page, I take with me the lessons and growth from this chapter of personal development and friendships.

Looking back at my time in KRCE, I’ve been through a solid academic journey in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
