Events Organized
On 19-09-2024, the Department of Chemistry, KRCE organized the 9th year Installation of Students' ExNoRa and EVS Club by conducting a seminar on 'climate change' with speakers Mrs. Devaki Chellaiya M.A., MSc., M.Phil., B.Ed., Social and Environmental activists, and Mr. R. Thirukannan, Educationalist and Hospitality, Professional, Chennai. Over 100 participants attended. This seminar's goal is to raise awareness of the value of eco-friendly lifestyles and humankind's attitudes to the environment.
K.Ramakrishnan College of Engineering (Autonomous) Students' Exnora organized a one-day International Colloquium'24 on October 7, 24. Dr. Are Holen, Professor of Behavioral Medicine at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Norway, delivered a speech titled "Stress and de-stress." This event explains what causes stress in current pupils and the significance of attitude.
An ACEM MEDITATION BASED ON MODERN PSYCHOLOGY event had been planned by the EVS club and Students’ Exnora of Chemistry Department. February 29, 2025. Mrs. Kalpana Jayaraj, M.A., ACEM Meditation, and Dr. I. Jayaraj, B.Com. B.L., provided a thorough explanation and demonstration of ACEM meditation. The students' ability to manage stress is enhanced by this meditation event, which also helps them focus on the here and now and lessen negative emotions. This will assist in lowering blood pressure and tense muscles.
