About Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, established in 2008, is dedicated to delivering quality education and fostering innovation in the dynamic field of computing. The department offers a strong academic foundation through both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs in Computer Science and Engineering, with a curriculum designed to meet industry standards and technological advancements and focuses on advanced learning, research, and innovation in specialized domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Advanced Software Engineering, preparing students for higher studies, research, and leadership roles in the IT industry.

The department is supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members, including Wipro-certified and Virtusa-certified faculty, ensuring effective teaching and practical knowledge transfer. To strengthen industry interaction and bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading industries, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, practical exposure, and collaborative learning.

To enhance students’ technical competency and employability, the department regularly conducts Value Added Courses, Industry-Oriented Training Programs, and Skill Development Programs that focus on improving industrial knowledge, technical expertise, and professional skills. These initiatives help students stay updated with the latest industry trends and prepare them for real-world challenges.

Students are encouraged to pursue global certifications such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow, PEGA, IBM, Java, and .NET, enabling them to gain specialized knowledge and improve their career prospects in the global technology sector. In addition, the department offers Japanese foreign language training to help students strengthen their communication skills and explore international career opportunities.

The department actively promotes internship activities, providing students with hands-on industrial exposure and opportunities to work on real-time projects. In collaboration with ICT Academy, various training programs, workshops, and skill enhancement initiatives are organized to equip both faculty and students with industry-relevant competencies and emerging technological skills.

Through continuous learning, industry collaborations, certification programs, internships, foreign language training, and experiential learning, the department strives to develop innovative, skilled, and globally competent engineers capable of meeting future technological challenges.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1 Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2 Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3 Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
