About Department

Mathematics department plays an evolutional role in everyday human’s life. Thus, it has a vital role in enriching the knowledge and career opportunities for students.

The department has well-qualified and dedicated faculty members with well-equipped labs which helps students to get the best hands on experience to augment their theoretical and practical knowledge. The department taken initiatives for conducts FDP, workshops, seminars, International level conferences regularly to motivate the students to update themselves with the knowledge of new fields and areas towards industrial applications.

Highly Qualified Faculty: 70% of the faculty members hold a doctorate.

Research Excellence: Faculty have published over 35 research papers in Scopus and SCI-indexed journals, including papers with high impact factors of 3.2 and 6.1.

Department Research Impact: The department has an h-index of 13, an i10-index of 19, and a total of 679 citations.

UHV Certification: Fourteen faculty members have completed the AICTE–ATAL UHV Certified Course.

Continuous Learning: All faculty members have completed more than four NPTEL certifications in the Elite category.

Workshops & Technical Training: Organized numerous workshops on programming languages, including SCI LAB, MATLAB, and others.

Professional Development: Faculties are attended Workshop / FDP/ Refresher Course in various Reputed institutions like IIT, IIITDM, NIT, VIT, SASTRA etc…

Book Publications & Student Guidance: Faculty members have authored books for students from 9th to 12th grade, as well as on Engineering Mathematics, and actively guide school students in their academic pursuits.

Patent Achievements: During the academic year 2024–2025 and 2025-2026, faculty members have published 12 patents and have applied for more than 20 patents.

Lifetime Memberships: Faculty members hold lifetime memberships in the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the Ramanujan Mathematical Society (RMS), Indian Mathematical Society(IMS), Global Scientific Technical Education (GSTE).

Department of Mathematics, KRCE organized a Hands-on Training Program on Engineering Mathematics III Using Sci Programming from 25th - 27th July 2024.
